llms.txt generator

llms.txt is a short file at the root of your website that gives AI assistants a clean summary of your business and links to your most important pages. Enter your domain: we read your key pages and write the file in your site’s language.

What does the generator do?

It crawls up to ten key pages of your domain (your homepage first, then about, services, pricing, FAQ and contact pages it finds), respects your robots.txt and writes an llms.txt in the language of your site: a title, a one-sentence summary, a few business details and links grouped into sections such as Company, Services, Pricing and Contact. Secondary pages go under "Optional".

Is any AI model involved?

No. The text is assembled from what your pages say, using fixed rules, so it costs nothing and gives the same result every time. It can only be as good as your pages: if your homepage has no clear description, the summary will be thin. Edit it before you publish; the box above is editable.

What should you check before publishing?

  1. The summary says plainly what you do, where and for whom.
  2. Every link opens and points to a page you want assistants to read.
  3. Nothing private or outdated is listed.

Then upload the file to the root of your site so it opens at your domain's /llms.txt. The llms.txt guide explains what the file is, what the proposal does and does not claim, and common mistakes to avoid.

Frequently asked questions

What is llms.txt?

A proposed standard (llmstxt.org): a markdown file at /llms.txt with your name, a one-line summary and links to your key pages, written for AI assistants rather than search engines.

Does llms.txt make ChatGPT recommend me?

Not on its own. It makes your site easier for AI to understand. Recommendations also depend on your content, structured data and the sites that cite you.

Is it safe to publish?

Yes. It only links to public pages of your website and describes what your business does.
